Advance the mission

World Servants is excited to announce our global partnership strategy, "Advance the Mission." Below you will meet the team working in Guatemala and learn about their vision for the community, Barberena.

Guinder & Noemi Gonzalez

Church Planter & Mission House Hosts

Married in 2018, Guinder and Noemi moved from Guatemala City to Barberena to partner with Mitch and Amanda Muñoz to become a new ministry team determined to advance the gospel in Barberena and throughout the surrounding villages. Their seminary studies include Bible & theology, transcultural missions, and counseling. They are anticipating the arrival of their first child, Isabella, this summer!
Their vision is to plant a gospel-centered church in Barberena that fosters genuine connections, spiritual transformation, and lasting hope found only in Jesus Christ. Barberena is a vibrant community filled with individuals longing for authentic relationships and deep spiritual renewal. As they embrace this calling, they are fully committed to spiritual growth, intentional relationships, and missional living. As they begin this new ministry, they will be the hosts of the newly lease and furnished Mission House in Barberena.

Erin Webster

Administrative Coordinator

A graduate of Moody Bible Institute (2020), Erin focused her studies in Linguistics as she believed God had been preparing her for international missions work since the age of 15 when she came to faith in Jesus Christ. Since then, she has had a growing desire to proclaim the gospel and make disciples. She has felt an especially real burden for people around the world who have little to no access to the gospel as described in the Bible. She is committed to serving wherever the Lord leads. In 2024, her pastor connected her to Mitch and Amanda Muñoz, church planters in rural Guatemala. She moved from her home town in Pennsylvania to Guatemala to work with them in January of 2025.
Ministry in Guatemala is tangible and needed. The villages surrounding Barberena are lacking so many of the necessities of life Americans so often take for granted. From humanitarian efforts to church planting endeavors, Erin will be providing relational and administrative support to the Muñoz and Gonzalez families while also serving villagers in the rural communities surrounding Barberena where she now lives.
